Simply connect your video camera and PC (or other content device) to Accordent Capture Station™ and you are ready to capture your presentation for live broadcast or on demand viewing. Just present your information as you otherwise would and Accordent Capture Station will do the rest, including capturing audio and video content and all of the visual information shown on your PC. When you are done, the Accordent Capture Station has saved a copy of your presentation that can be edited and made searchable within a content management system.

The Accordent Capture Station can synchronize and publish any visual image, including:

All files shared or projected on-screen during a presentation

All images captured via a document camera or smart board

All files shared during a video conference

All images from a RGB/VGA output

Presenters can publish live using Windows Media or Real Media, and then publish on demand in multiple bit rates of Real Media and/or Windows Media. The MPEG-4 codec is also available for live or on demand publishing with an integrated solution featuring Vbrick’s EtherneTV.

The Accordent Capture Station is designed to bring a presentation beyond the walls of a classroom or conference room with the click of a button. Simply select a customizable interface, add optional descriptive information about the presentation – such as speaker name, content description and date – and click Start. It’s that easy.

The Accordent Capture Station also allows a presenter to edit their live presentation before publishing it on demand. These editing features include:

Changing the timing of synchronized images

Adding, removing or editing chapter timings within the presentation.

Once a presentation has been created, it can be published to a custom content portal, and be categorized by the type of content or by date. Viewers may access content directly or utilize Accordent’s sophisticated search technology to access content from a custom content portal. Search queries can include: presenter names and titles, content descriptions and dates.

Create and/or customize the presentation interface to promote unique branding and messaging

Remotely start and stop a presentation from any internet ready computer, provided there is a VGA cable that connects the Accordent Capture Station with the presenting computer.
